Evans is a seasoned expert in natural resource management, extractive geopolitics, and sustainable development. As a certified educator in the African Mining Vision (AMV), he specializes in strategic program management, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record in research-driven policy influence to promote sustainable practices in the extractive sector.
Evans leads strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. His background includes developing and managing programs, facilitating capacity-building activities, and teaching International Development Studies. He has also served as a policy advisor, program officer, and investigative journalist.
Evans holds an Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices from the Geneva Graduate School, a Master’s in Environmental Studies from York University, a Graduate Diploma in Refugee and Migration Studies from the Centre for Refugee Studies at York University, and a Bachelor’s in Theology from Trinity Baptist Church Theological Programme in Kenya. He plays a pivotal role in research, advocacy, and community engagement, driving impactful policy changes at local and international levels.

Joash is an Experienced Professional in Business, Administration and Law, he predominantly focuses on regulatory compliances related to corporate firms, immigration services, labour and employment laws, environmental laws, organisational safety and health issues at workplace, Tax administration and planning. He has been working with reputable firms such as Tanzania Steel Pipes Limited, African Under Ground Mining Services (AUMS), Chanan Fittings Consulting Limited, EPIC Roofing Co. Limited, Arbogast Mseke Advocates, Mwika Annex and many more.
Joash holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, LL.B from Tumaini University Makumira, Tanzania – December, 2018 and an ISO 9001:2015 certified auditor under the Kenyan Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
